Company
SOFT EDGE was founded in Krakow in 2013. For the first years we built software for other people. That is no longer what we do. Since 2020 we have been a product company, and our engineering effort goes into our own products and into the partners who embed them.
The shift came from one observation. Vehicle damage assessment was still being done by hand with a torch and a tally sheet, in a market where every other part of the claim had been digitised. The processing power needed to do it properly had arrived in ordinary phones, and nobody had built it. We did.

How we work with customers
We are a small team working with large institutions, and we are direct about what that means. You deal with the people who build the product. Decisions are fast. We do not have a large services organisation, and we do not try to sell one.
What we do commit to is the operational side of being a supplier to an insurer: security reviews answered properly, vulnerability questions answered quickly, documentation produced in your format, and support through the seasons when it actually matters.
Engineering services
We take on engineering work in one specific case: when it makes our technology work inside a partner's product. That covers module integration, performance engineering against partner hardware, and extending the capability where a partner's product needs it shaped differently. This work is scoped and contracted separately from the licence.
We do not offer general software development, staff augmentation or IT consulting, and we decline that work when it is offered. It is a different business from the one we are in.
Partners
Our products reach the market both directly and through partners who embed them: claims technology providers, hardware manufacturers, and assessment and repair networks. If you are considering a partnership, see for platforms and OEMs.
